While rumors run rampant about a two-year extension for Doc Rivers (which would take him through the 20010-2011 season), Danny Ainge remains mum on the subject. From the Herald:

Rivers has agreed to a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the Green through the 2010-11 season, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.

Celtics director of basketball operations Danny Ainge wouldn’t confirm or deny the report last night but said something likely would be in place soon.

“I’m confident we’ll get something done with Doc before training camp,” Ainge told the Herald.
