2008-11-05 OKLAHOMA CITY - NOVEMBER 5: Paul Pierce #34 of the Boston Celtics attempts a reverse layup during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Ford Center on November 5, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Celtics capped off their min three-game road trip with a win over Oklahoma City, 96-83. Pierce led the Celtics with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Ray Allen had 18 points and 9 boards, and KG had 17 and 8. In all, five Celtics players scored in double figures.

While the scoreboard shows somewhat of a blowout, the Celtics are hardly playing at a very high level through these first five games. Yes, they are 4-1. However, poor shooting and too many turnovers continue to plague them. Fortunately, their staple, team defense, has been suffocating for the most part thus far (they held the Thunder to 37% shooting tonight). Part of their struggles may be attributed to them having that big red target on their backs this season. Teams are going to be bringing their "A" game every night against them, which is something they didn't necessarily have to deal with early last season.

Maybe a trip back home to Boston will get them on track - the Celtics host Milwaukee on Friday
