From OurSportsCentral.com: The Boston Celtics announced today that they have assigned rookie forward Bill Walker to their NBA Development League affiliate Utah Flash. Walker is the team's second assignment to the NBA Development League this season. Walker had appeared in two games for the Celtics, averaging 1.0 point in 3.0 minutes per game. The former Kansas State Wildcat was acquired in a draft night trade with the Washington Wizards in exchange for cash considerations. Walker (6-6, 220), averaged 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds as a redshirt freshman at K-State last season. Walker will be joined with his Celtics teammate J.R. Giddens, who assigned to the Flash on Nov. 15. Both Walker and Giddens will be in uniform for Utah when it travels to Burley, Idaho on Saturday for a preseason game against the defending NBA D-League champion Idaho Stampede
