The Celtics continued to struggle on the road again tonight, getting outworked, out-muscled, and outscored in New York, 100-88. Paul Pierce was one of the few bright spots for the Celtics, as he scored 31 points. Leon Powe also played tough basketball on a night where most of the Celtics seemed passive and sloppy. The Knicks, on the other hand, came out aggressive, and showed the toughness that the Celtics normally dish out to other opponents. The Celtics were also careless with the ball at inopportune times, turning it over a total of 13 times. With the loss, the Celtics also failed to gain any ground on the Cavs, who lost to Washington earlier in the day. Add your comment |
