The road woes that plagued the Celtics during last year's post-season have seemingly carried over into the new regular season. The Celtics could only manage 79 points against the Pacers, as they fell to Indiana 95-79 at Conseco Fieldhouse. KG led the Celtics with 18 points and 14 rebounds. P2 added 15 points, but shot only 3-15 from the floor, as the perimeter shooting woes (35% on the night) continue for the Celtics. The team's free throw shooting also remained very poor, as the C's shot only 21-35 (60%) from the charity stripe. Add in 24 turnovers, 20% 3-point shooting, and only 28 points in the paint, and that equals disaster on most nights. So, loss number one is in the books, just three games in. And if they keep playing like they have been through games one, two, and three, loss number two is just around the corner. Add your comment |
